Dr. Lori J Engelmann, DDS
Dentistry allows me to help people achieve the best smile possible. I do believe that dentistry isn't just about teeth however. Its also about people-our patients and my team. I believe in treating each person who comes into the office as an individual and really try and get to know them. Many of my patients have been with me since the beginning of my practice in 1987. I strongly believes in a holistic approach to dentistry, believing that your overall health impacts your oral health."
Dr. Engelmann graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1979, The University of Kansas in 1983 and from The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry in 1987. After completing her training at UMKC Dr. Engelmann chose to stay here to be close to family and for the warm, friendly people of the mid-west. Dr. Engelmann has two children; Jenna is a graduate of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth working in the marketing industry and Garrett is a graduate of the California Maritime Academy. She enjoys KU Basketball, TCU Football, watching her kids in their varied activities, and traveling the world.
Dr. Engelmann is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association and the 5th District Dental Society. She is continually attending training sessions to keep up on the latest in dental treatment and protocol.

My name is Alyson and I am one of Dr. Lori's Dental Hygienists. I received my Bachelor of Science from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1997. I have worked full-time and part-time for Dr. Lori since 2001. Needless to say, I love this office and our patients!
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my four kids.
